YOUNG, Barry Eric Surrounded by his loving family, Barry passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Vera Young (nee Brandon) (2013) for over 68 years. Loving father of Wayne (Judith) Young. Dear grandfather of Natalie (Taylor), Carrie (Brian), Scott (Chelsea) and Megan (Erik). Cherished great-grandfather of Gabe, Liam, Henleigh, Chanley, Blake, Veralee, Beckett and Berkley. Survived by his sister-in-law Marguerite Young. Predeceased by his brothers Trevor and Gordon. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Barry was a veteran of WWII serving in the Royal Airforce - Free French Wing and a long time employee of Babcock- Wilcox of Cambridge. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Friday, February 10th from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. A Legion Service will be held in the Visitation Room on Friday at 6:30 p.m. all are welcome. Donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A Tree will be planted in memory of Barry and Margaret in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
