Quick, Derwyn Elmer
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Derwyn Quick, in his 86th year, at St. Joseph's Lifecare, on Tuesday, Nov. 15th, 2016. Beloved husband of Dorothy Quick for 61 years. Blessed with 4 children, Jeffrey (Cathy), Stephen (Donna), Carolyn (Laren), and Barbara (deceased at 3 weeks of age). Proud grandfather to Jennifer, Chris (Kayla), Angela (Alex), Derek (Sofia), Tyler, and Katelyn. Great-grandfather to Jace. Predeceased by his parents Herman and Mabel, his sister Margaret, and brother Jack. The family would like to thank the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre for their care of Derwyn. At Derwyn's request, cremation has been arranged. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Friday, Nov. 18th from 10 - 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Derwyn in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
