Obituary of Geraldine Simon

Simon, Geraldine (nee Sellar) Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday, Sept. 8th, 2016 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil. She is predeceased by her son Richard Michael Simon. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Shirley Brown, her brother Wayne Sellar, her nieces, and nephews Brenda (Brian) Hall, Sally (Jay) Hall, Diane Chabot, Sheila (Ron) VanEngen, Terry Simon, and Marilyn "Pipper" (Ike) Isaacs, Vicki and Allen Lawrence, and many other family members and friends. Geraldine enjoyed her quilting days while she lived up north, she volunteered with Willing Workers, and was known as a fun, strong, happy person. She was everyone's favourite aunt. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Sunday, September 11th, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Monday, September 12th 2016 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Randall Mackenzie Officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario, the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
