Obituary of Victor Iezzi

Please share a memory of Victor to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Iezzi, Victor Perry Sr. Surrounded by his family, Victor Iezzi passed away Monday, July 4 at the Brantford General Hospital. He was 92. He will be forever loved and missed by Bernice (nee Caradonna), his wife of 56 years, his children, Lisa (Colin), Victor Jr., and Teressa (Jonah), his grandchildren Lee and Jordan, his extended family and the many, many friends who were touched by his warmth, humor and generosity. He is survived by his sister Anne DeRosse (the late Ben), and predeceased by sisters Emma DeAngelis (Massey), and Eileen (Bud), and brothers Dee (Helen), Louis (Jenny), Austin, James (Doris), Johnny, and Dominic (Madeline). He is also survived by sisters-in-law Betty Bruce (Ernie), and Isabel Iezzi. Victor brought passion and energy to everything he did. He was, first and foremost, a fiercely devoted husband and caring father. He loved his work and built a successful business as co-founder of Iezzi and Iezzi Limited, but he measured his success over 50 years in real estate by the number of people he helped, personally and professionally. He was an avid golfer, and a loyal friend. His love of life was contagious and his charming, outgoing nature made him an unforgettable presence in this community and beyond. Those who knew him best will remember him for his big heart, his big smile, and his inability to finish a joke without laughing. A private family service was held at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331, in Brantford. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Victor in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
