Chapin, Jack Arthur Passed away suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, June 12th, 2016 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary for over 62 years. Loving father of the late Joel (2004), and Marianne (Jeff) Dwyer. Devoted grandfather of Christopher (Bailey), Michael (Jacque), and Stephen (Alison). He is survived by his sisters Doris (Chet), and Carol, and his brother Dennis (Jackie). He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Ruby (nee Arthur) Chapin. Jack will be fondly remembered by his many family members and friends. He was a retired employee of Union Gas, and loved to hunt and fish. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Vanessa Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
