Brooks, Ralph - Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in his 73rd year. Beloved and adored husband of Shirley. Loving father of Pamela (John), Annette, Jennifer and Blake. Cherished grandfather of Melissa (Victor), Shayne, Nathan and Valerie, Caitlyn, Taylor and Gabriel. Great-grandfather of Paige, Lucas, Curtis and Abby. Dear brother-in-law of Sharon Koekoek and George Nitschkie. Special thanks to the Nurses in the ICU at the Brantford General Hospital. Also thanks to Doctor Semelhago and the charge nurse, Angela at Hamilton General Hospital for their caring and compassion. At Ralph's request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Red Cross would be appreciated. Donations and condolences may be placed online at www.beckettglaves.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Ralph in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
