Obituary of Douglas Benedict

Benedict, Douglas James Peacefully, at home, in his sleep on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn Sherwood. Loving father of Damien (Janet), Jason (Dayle), Ashleigh (Grant) McBride, and Kim (Brandon) Simons. Devoted grandfather of Ethan, Briar, Trent, Merek, Daxen, and Tally. He is survived by his sister Adria (James) Williams. Predeceased by his parents James Benedict and Kathleen (nee Bell). He will also be fondly remembered by all of his family members and friends. At his request, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held. Donations to the Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto would be appreciated.
