Obituary of William Kicksee

Kicksee, William "Bill" Fredrick Passed away peacefully, at the Stedman Community Hospice, with his loving family at his side, on Friday, May, 27th, 2016 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Smith) for over 63 years. Devoted father of Nancy (Ray) Dostal, and Randy "Sam" Kicksee (Julie Zahrybelny). Grandfather of Andrea (Justin) Colyn, Jesse (Deirdre) Dostal, Ryan (Sylvia) Kicksee, and Mandy (Brian) Prosser. Great-grandfather of Jonathan, Rachel and Megan Colyn, Vanessa and Zack Kicksee and Mitchell, Brody and Max Prosser. Bill was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Velma, his sisters Marion and Ruth, and his brother Raye. He leaves behind his sister Norma, brothers Morgan and Johnny, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was a farmer all of his life and had a great ability for modifying farm machinery. He never forgot a joke and was always ready to tell one. Bill's family would like to express their appreciation for the special care he received at Hankinson House. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House, or the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
