BANNISTER, Lillian Louise (nee Elliott) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12th, 2016, at Riverview Terrace Retirement Home, in her 94th year. Wife of the late Keith Bannister (2003). Loving mother of Wayne (Marilyn) Bannister, Gary (Joanne) Bannister, Reid (Mary) Bannister and Nancy (Bruce) Char. Beloved grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Shirley and Florence. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Monday, May 16th, from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Lillian in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
