AINSWORTH, Douglas Carl
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Life care centre on March 1st, 2016 in his 73rd year. Loving father to Julia, Christina (of Montreal) and Alexander Ainsworth (of Brantford). Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Marie Ainsworth (Elmira) and sister, Ruth Hutchison. Survived by Claudia Ainsworth and Neil Fraser, and loyal friends Arlene Lasky, Carol Anne Smith and Paul Kotten. Lovingly remembered by the Sorenson and Aldred families. Douglas Ainsworth was a gifted criminal & family lawyer, journalist (for the Expositor and Stratford Beacon Herald) and political activist who was deeply invested in his community. His gentle spirit, humor and wit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
