Obituary of E. Colleen Ferrell

Ferrell, E. Colleen Passed away peacefully at the Fox Ridge Nursing Home, Brantford on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Ferrell (2010). Loving mother of the late Les "Lester" (2009), Lee (Mary-Jo) of California, Len of Brantford, and Cindy (Ron) of Welland. Devoted grandmother of David, Daniel, and Joseph, all of California, Erin, Amy, and Shawn, and her great-grandchildren Abby and Chloe, all of Welland. She is predeceased by her parents Leo "Houstie" O'Heron and Bertha (nee Girdlestone), and two sisters Bubs Oliver and Jeanette Whittaker. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. Her family would like to thank all of the staff at Fox Ridge for their care and compassion over the years. At Colleen's request cremation has been arranged through the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. A graveside interment of her ashes will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in the Spring. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Colleen in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
