Condolences
So sorry for your loss. I know Cathy well from quilting for her and being a member of the Oxford Quilters Guild. I spoke with her often when I was having Cancer problems and she helped me understand what was happening. She will be missed.
TO Don & family:
My sympathy to Cathy's family-- we were classmates together (class of 1958) at BGH.
Although it is many years since we have visited, I remember Cathy as an optimistic person with a great sense of humour.
I know how difficult it is to lose a loved one ,but pray that the support of family & friends will help you through this difficult time.

Dear Don and family: My sincere condolences go out to you. Cathy will be missed by so many. Hope to see you in the upcoming months Don, at one of our UEL meetings. We have a lot of wonderful memories of Cathy. Sincerely, Sunday.
Chris & family, I am sorry for your loss of your Mother. Hope it helps to know I'm thinking of you.
Chris, you may get a "Mommy Hug" from me anytime.
So sorry to hear about Cathy's death. I have quilted with her for many years at the Oxford Quilter's Guild in Ingersoll. She was a very good quilter and was very good at helping others with their quilting and problems. We will miss her. Beth English
A very beautiful tribute, Condolences from our family to yours! May she forever rest in paradise!!
My condolences on such a great loss. I knew Cathy from the Nofolk County Quilt Guild. I was always amazed at what Cathy was able to produce! She was a very gifted quilter and I shall miss her presence at the meetings and at Show and Tell. May you all treasure your memories of this talented, smart and interesting lady. She will be missed.
Truly a sad event. Cathy will be dearly missed. She was such an artist and historian. Our sympathy goes out to Cathy's family.
Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. I chatted with Cathy many times as I was getting 4 UE certificates. She was so kind and so helpful and I know many of us are grateful for all the time she put into position as genealogist for the Grand River Branch of the United Empire Loyalists.
We even talked about meeting up this summer when we were going to be in Ontario.
Thank you Cathy!
Cathy will be missed greatly by me. I enjoyed your smile, mostly the dirty grin. There was always something spinning in that brain, you could see the mischief in your eyes. Thank you Cathy for being just you.
To your family, Cathy was a gift to all who new her. You were the lucky ones to call her your wife, mom and grandmother. May her quilts warm your hearts as she has stitched love into each one. God bless.
Debbie
We will always remember how much Uncle Don and Aunt Cathy loved to dance up a storm at weddings. We loved watching them! Such a beautiful and caring couple. We will miss your beautiful smile Aunt Cathy, Love Josie and Rick xoxo
I met Cathy only only once and remember her vitality and enthusiasm, including her love of family and quilting.
My thought go out to Lori, her boys and all the Thompsons on the loss their mother, grandmother and life partner.
Kathy will be missed by all her friends in Port Rowan and the Heritage society.
Please accept my sincerest condolences at the sudden passing of your loved one. I knew Cathy through the Norfilk County Quilters Guild and just last week at our meeting she was offering me encouragement in my fight for zoning changes st Hastings in Long Point. She was a good friend and will be deeply missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
So very sad to hear of Cathy's sudden passing. At our recent quilt guild meeting Cathy told me she was booked for heart bypass surgery Feb. 15 th or 17th? Cathy helped me numerous times when I had a problem with quilting. She was an excellent resource and such a very nice person. We will all miss seeing her very beautiful quilts. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your enormous loss. Respectfully, Diane Masschaele
A spade is a spade - that is my Aunt Catherine... One of the tallest women I knew and someone I could always count on... I grieve along side my Uncle Don and the whole family. You are all in my thoughts.

I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your loved one. I worked with Chris at Food City and have recently reconnected with her via Facebook (and, some other family members...who I am just now realizing!). I remember her Mom coming in to the grocery store with that massive smile. Always felt like there was some fun cheekiness in there. Sincere...deep...condolences. Gather together and heal together. Peace and love to all of you who are feeling the loss. Sometimes there are no words. But mostly, words are all we can offer.
Don and Family, it deepens us sadly to hear of the passing of Cathy. Cathy was an inspiration to all she met. I know that my family will miss her dearly. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Cathy was a really important part of our life in Port Rowan. Her knowledge and her willingness to impart it to others, was a wonderful gift. We learned so much of Norfolk history from her.
Rest in Peace Cathy.
Dear Don and family I can not believe that Cathy left us in such a hurry. I guess she did everything that way, fast, efficient , and to the point. You have our sincerest sympathy in the loss of such a wonderful wife, mother, grandma...She was a great friend and we will miss her radiant smile.
So very sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. Although we did not see much of each other in recent years, whenever we did speak it was fun catching up and hearing of her family's accomplishments. Cathy was a proud mom and grandma to say the least. Rest in peace Cathy, you may be gone but never forgotten.
Jenn, Kevin and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
My deepest sympathies on your sudden loss. Peace to you all.
We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Cathy's passing. We will never forget Aunt Cathy's smile, zest for life and love for her family. She always made us feel loved and special. We always loved to hear about our family's past through her interest in genealogy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Don, Lori, Jenny, Chris and their families. Our memories of Aunt Cathy will keep her alive in our hearts. Love Rick and Josie.
Cathy will be sadly missed by everyone at the Port Rowan/South Walsingham Heritage Association. She added so much to our knowledge of the area and was a key member in our group. Whenever anyone in Port Rowan visits the Royal Canadian Legion, they can enjoy her Remembrance Day quilt upstairs. I feel fortunate that I own one of her fabulous quilts to remember her by. R.I.P. Cathy.
