With great sadness the family of Jack Fletcher announces the he passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Fletcher (2010). Loving father Sharon Inns, Lynda (the late Gregory Hanley), Jacqueline (George Lindsay) Shoreman, and Kristine (Rick) Schroeder. Devoted grandfather of Kyle (Kathleen) Fletcher, Michael Hanley, Jennifer Hanley, Adam (Anna) Inns, Scott Inns, the late Jeffrey Inns, Michael Shoreman, Kate Shoreman, Hilary (Peter Walma) Shoreman, Alaina Schroeder, Jackson Schroeder, and Cooper Schroeder, and his great-grandchildren James, Patrick, Lucy, Bailee, Caoinhe, Madelyn, Jack and Porter. He is predeceased by his brother Raymond (the late Muriel) Fletcher and his sister Shirley Williamson (Alec Williamson). He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, and many other family members and friends. At Jack's request, cremation has been arranged through the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 19th, 2015 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow, in the chapel on Sat. Dec. 19th at 11 a.m. Donations to the Long Run Thoroughbred Retirement Society, 555 Rexdale Blvd, P.O. Box 156, Toronto, ON M9W 5L2 - www.longrunretirement.com. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
