Heath, Violet Hazel Edith
Peacefully at Brierwood Gardens, Brantford, on July 22nd, 2015 in her 103rd year. Hazel was the dearly loved daughter of the late Edith and Charles Marshall. Loving sister of the late Winnifred Nickerson, and the late William Marshall. She is survived by her sister-in-law Dorothy Marshall. Devoted aunt of Rand Bayman Nickerson, and his children Joe, and Rachael. She is also survived by her cousins Carol (Victor) Nunn and Bronwen (Stew) Galloway. Hazel was a life-long resident of Brantford and began work at Penman's Ltd at a young age. In July 1977, she was presented with an award for over 50 years of service to the company. At Hazel's request cremation has been entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. (519) 752-4331. A short Committal Service for Hazel's ashes will be held in the chapel at Beckett-Glaves on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 at 4 p.m. There will be no visitation prior to the service. A tree will be planted in memory of Hazel in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
