MacVicar, Lorne “Sandy”
It is with heavy hearts that the MacVicar family announces the passing of Lorne “Sandy” MacVicar, Tuesday July 14, 2015 on his 72nd birthday. Sandy is predeceased by parents Robert and Gladys(nee Rockery) and his beloved wife of over 47 years Jacqueline(nee Geslak). Sandy is survived by his children Marcia and Darren(partner Chrissy) to which he was a caring and dedicated Father. His brother and sister Robert and Linda, sister in law Lydia McDonald, several nephews, nieces and many special family friends. He will also be sadly missed by his grand-dog “Diesel”. At Sandy's request cremation has been arranged through the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519)752-4331. A private graveside service will be held for family at a later date. Donations to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Sandy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
