Thompson, Robert "Bob" On Monday July 13, 2015, Bob passed peacefully at his home in his daughters arms. Loving husband of Margaret (Nee Bowen). Special Dad of Kelly-Anne (Robert) and Crystal (Jim). Special Papa of Taylor (Sara), Portia, Shayla, Jamie, Ricki, Alyssa, Andrew and Anna Marie. Special Great Papa of Lily Marie and Draezen. Father to Greg (Amelia) and Jeff. Grandfather of Neely, Cameron and Sheila, Kristie (Gordon), Levi, Louden (Ashley), Haiden, Tanner, Chuckie, and Beth. Great Grandfather of Sebastin, Alexis, Stewie, Allen, and Hannah and Connor. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Marjorie and his brother Elby, Surviving sister Bev Davis (the late Murray). Son in law of Anne Bowen (the late Charles), Brother in law of Mary (Rod), Charles, Pat (the late Steve), Teresa (Rob), Annemarie (Paul) and Robert (Susan) and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. A Funeral Ceremony will be held in the chapel on July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
