Cullen, M. Phurn - Suddenly, at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, as a result of a fall, in her 91st year. Phurn will be dearly missed by Jim Cullen, her loving husband of 71 years. Cherished mother of Kenneth (Bette), Kathleen, Donald (Dorie), Doug (Maureen), Dennis (Brenda) and Sheilah Davis (Don). Predeceased by her sons Clifford, Terry and Rory Sean, grandson Richard, parents Ernest and Margaret Smith and her brother Reston Smith. Survived by her sister Doreen Cowan and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Phurn loved knitting, reading, card playing and her dog "Buckwheat". Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Graveside Service will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Cremation has already taken place.
A tree will be planted in memory of Phurn in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
