KING, John Robert "Jack"
Passed away peacefully with family at his side, Jack died on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015, at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Kay King for over 68 years. Loving father of Donna (Herb) Zimmerman and Bob (Candy) King. Dear grandpa of Paul, Aaron, Douglas, Chad and Daniel and great-grandpa of Ashley, Noah, Alex, Owen, Evan, Kameron and Katrina. Brother of Phyllis Pizzey. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Jack proudly served his country in WWII in the Royal Canadian Navy, on the HMCS Ontario. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Saturday, April 11th, from 9-10 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to the C.N.I.B. or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
