SMITH, "Rob" Robert Thomas - It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Rob at the Norkfolk General Hospital on Sunday, July 24th, 2011 in his 48th year. Loving husband of Brenda. Much loved father of Chelsy and Allan. Loving son of Jack (Florence S. Smith) and the late Florence. Rob is survived by his brothers Clifford (Stacey) and Paul and in-laws Donald and Colette Lipsett and brother in-laws Richard Theobald, Gene (Noelle Marshall) Theobald and Cameron (Kelly) Lipsett. Rob will also be remembered by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, July 28th from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Rob in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
