Obituary of Margaret McLeod

McLEOD, Margaret - Peacefully at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Friday, May 27th 2011 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" McLeod. Loving mother of Ruth Priddle, Margaret McLeod, Mary Ann Smith, Cathy (Larry) Valley and Norma (Terry) Thompson. Much loved Grandma of Robert, Paul, Todd, Billy, Debbie, Kelly, Mike, Craig, Christin, Grant and Brooke, as well as great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Herbert and Ester Sutherland, brothers Crawford and Grant, grandson David Brown and son-in-law Dennis Smith. Marg will be remembered by many other family members and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Park Lane Terrace for their love and compassionate care of Margaret. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre (519) 752-4331. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Margaret in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
