Obituary of Lois Sanderson

Sanderson, Lois Elizabeth (nee Ramey) - Passed away unexpectedly, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, May 18th, 2011 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Lewis Sanderson (1994). Loving mother of Sharon (Len) Godwin, Faye, David (Donna), Sara (Jay) McLellan, Lynda, and Don (Paula). Devoted grandmother of Amy, and Danny Godwin, Scott (Erin), Fred, and Alex McLellan, Brandon, and Kimberley Sanderson, and Maddy, Emma, William, and Duncan Sanderson, and her great-granddaughter Kingsley McLellan. She is survived by her sister Pansy (Harold) Kent, and her brother Vernon (Irene) Ramey. Predeceased by her brothers Don, Howard and Ken Ramey. She will also be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Doris Ramey, and her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a long time member of the Rebekah Lodge in Lynden. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 - 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Lois in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
