SCHERTZBERG, Gladys Evelyn - Passed away peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Laverne Schertzberg (January, 1984). She is survived by her sister Lenore Todd, of British Columbia, and Muriel Kiel (Kenneth), of Wisconsin, U.S.A. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Juliette Latimer and by her sisters and brothers-in-law Viola (James) Hill and Hazel (Colin) MacKenzie. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Friday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 - 10 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to Operation Lift would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Gladys in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
