There are no easy words to say when a loved one is taken suddenly from us especially when the loved one is so far away. But we need to seek comfort in each other to help ease the pain from the loss of our beloved brother and uncle "Eddie" and know that he will be resting peacefully with such beautiful surroundings due to the love of his second family in Canada which can bring comfort to his family in the United States.

In the night of death, Hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing. Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy.

We know that Eddie's passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew him. May his memories and his love for us give us strength to get through the days ahead.
