HAIG James Ensley (Jim) Surrounded by his family at Stedman Community Hospice on Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 in his 71st year. This day, we lost a best friend, husband, father, and papa. Jim was the adoring husband of Lynn Haig (nee Hughes), and loving father to A.J., Scott and Kelley Hoyt, Dion and Leah Hoyt, Chris and Lori Dawson, and predeceased by Allan Hoyt. Cherished Papa of Jonah, Hunter, Mykayla, Sawyer, Neva, and Samuel. Dear son-in-law of Allan and Midge Hughes. Survived by his "dear old auntie" Margaret (Peg) Pow and predeceased by auntie Agnes Pow. Predeceased by brother John. Jim worked for many years at Massey Ferguson and Northway Mercury as a heavy truck mechanic. Jim will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday, April 5th from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 10 am. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jim in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
