GREINER, Richard "Richy" Eugene - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, in Hamilton on Monday, February 28th, 2011, in his 58th year. Dear son of Jean Hainer and the late Donald Greiner. Treasured brother of Beverley Kelly (the late Bill), Donna Cottrell (Tim Simpson) (the late Terry Cottrell). Beloved uncle of Michelle and Ryan McCormick, of Ottawa, and cherished step-father of Traci Kelly and her children Ethan and Ava. In his early years, Richard was one of the youngest members of the Brantford Symphony Orchestra and the Branch 90 Legion Band. He was well known as a drummer and trumpet player in local dance bands. Recently he has been a driver for Brant Taxi. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
