MOTHERSELL, P. Jean - Passed away peacefully, at the Central Place Retirement Home, Owen Sound, February 9, 2011, in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Fred Hubbard and Agnes (Mitchell) Hubbard. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kelly, her sister, Gwen Deakin and her brother, Noble Hubbard. Aunt Jean will be sadly missed by her niece. Barb (Deakin) Donaldson, her husband, Dave Donaldson, and her children Bob, Laura and Alison Donaldson, Seeley's Bay and nephew, John Deakin, (Marg) and his children, John and Angela, Kingston. Born in Brantford, Jean married Kelly Mothersell in 1949 and worked for 46 years for Sternson Limited, in Brantford. At 65 she retired and moved to Owen Sound, Kelly's birthplace. Jean and Kelly spent time between their Owen Sound condo and their cottage on Chesley Lake. The family would like to thank the staff at the Central Place Retirement Home for the exception care given to Jean. Friends will be received at the Beckett Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Saturday, March 5th from 12-1 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Zion-Amabel United Church, 899 Main St., G.D., Sauble Beach, On. N0H 2G0 would be appreciated.
