Obituary of Maida McCutcheon

McCUTCHEON, Maida Hilda - Passed away peacefully at the John Noble Home on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 in her 84th year. Loving wife of the late Robert McCutcheon. Beloved mother of Bruce (Linda), Paul, Colleen (Rick), and Diane. Devoted grandmother of Luke, Andy, Kim, James, Joshua and Jenn. Maida is survived by her brothers Maurice (Ruby), Philip (Gwen), Les (Rita) and the late Wilfred and Fred (the late Eulalie) and her sisters Joy (the late Glen) and Maisie (Dave). Predeceased by her parents John and Ada Buckrell. Maida will also be fondly remembered by many other nieces, nephews and friends. The family of Maida would like to thank the staff of the John Noble Home for all of their kindness and care for the past several years. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Tuesday, January 18th from 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment Scotland Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society, Burtch Baptist Church or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Maida in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
