Obituary of Lloyd Rosebrugh

ROSEBRUGH, Lloyd - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 2nd, 2011, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (2007). Loving father of Linda (Robert), Bob (Stephanie), Kathy (Rob), Bill of Alberta, Allan (Shelley), and Sue (Jim). Cherished grandfather of Tyson, Tynessa, Ben, Curtis, Dennis, Jason, Brad, Carson, Danny, Richard, and Leah and great grandfather of Carver. Survived by brother Roger (Barb) and sisters Barbara (Barry) and Donna (Dave). Predeceased by brother Lyle. Lloyd will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was a retired employee of Union Gas Cambridge division and a chartered member of the RCL #605 St. George Legion. He was a lifelong farmer and an avid outdoor sportsman. Friends will be received at BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011, from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. At Lloyd's request, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Lloyd in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
