Alja was a very dear and special friend to me and we shared many confidences. In fact, she was to be my bridesmaid at my wedding in 2013. We were looking forward to a visit from her shortly and were very saddened and shocked to read in the paper that she had passed away. Her bubbly personality was very contagious but there was a very troubled aspect of her personality that worried me. She was always looking for happiness in all the wrong places. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest sympathies to her family who have had to endure so much unhappiness in the past few years. May God embrace her into His Kingdom and make her transition to the Other Side peaceful.
