MYERSCOUGH, Chance Adam "Chancy Pants" - Completed his journey at the McMaster Children's Hospital, on Tuesday, November 16th, 2010. He was 9 1/2 years old. Loving son of Anne and the late Terry Myerscough, and amazing brother of Dean. He will also be fondly remembered by his Auntie Dale, and many other family members, nurses, care providers, and Hunter's Hope Krabbe Families. At fourteen months old, Chance was diagnosed with Krabbe Disease (Leukodystrophy), a rare and fatal genetic disorder affecting the brain and central nervous system. The Hunter's Hope Krabbe Families (families affected by the same disease) have been a strong support for Chance and his family. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Ave., on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Hunter's Hope Foundation, or to the McMaster Children's Hospital, Pediatric Ward 3B & 3C, would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Chance in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
