KINGSWOOD, Edna Violet - It is with great sadness the family of Edna Violet (nee: Martin) announces her passing on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry (1976). Loving mother of Glen (Jane), and Don (Denise). Caring Granny of Clark (Andrea), Samantha (Duane), and Heather (Branden). Great-Granny of Emmaleigh, Carter, Caleigh, and Sydney. Predeceased by her brothers Alfred Martin (1996), Arthur Martin (2003), and Ralph Martin (1995). For many years Edna and Henry ran the Kingswood Restaraunt and then Kingswood Taxi. Edna was an independent and determined woman. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on the Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Arthritis Society or to the Light-A-Smile Program (GEDSB) would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Edna in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
