Obituary of Guerino Costantini

COSTANTINI, Guerino - It is with profound sadness that the family of Guerino (Gordon) Costantini announces his passing, on Monday, November 8th, 2010, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Ida for 63 years. Loving father of Anna and her husband, the late Vince Apostoli. Cherished grandfather of Nita and her husband Craig Surette, Annetta and her husband Alfredo Casati. Devoted great-grandfather of Julia and Jessica Surette. Loving son of the late Ernesto and Antenisca Costantini. Dear brother of the late Giuseppe Angelo (Stella), the late Franco (Amalia), the late Annunziata Di Giacinto (Romolo), the late Adela Leuterio (Vittorio). Uncle of Ernie and Italia Costantini and family, Frank and the late Carla Costantini and family, Tony and Beth Costantini and family. Also survived by nephews Joe and Rosaria Garsone and family, Tony Sebastiani and family, and many other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. and prayers at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady of Assumption Mausoleum. Donations to St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre (Oriole Avenue Only) or to the Military Families Fund would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Gordon in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
