BLOOMFIELD, Ada Glendora "Glenna" (nee McCready) - It is with great sorrow the family of Glenna Bloomfield announce her peaceful passing on Monday, November 8th, 2010, at Park Lane Terrace, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Bloomfield (1985). Cherished mother of Rosemarie "Marie" (Jerry) Thornton, Joseph (Clara Olmstead) Bloomfield and William "Bill" (Carol) Bloomfield. Devoted grandmother of Sherry (Peter Sr.), Tim (Melissa) John (Tina), Jeff (Pia) and Terry and great-grandmother of Peter Jr. (Lora), Nick (Danielle), Amy (James), Julie-Ann, Andy, Jacob, Emily and Shannon. Glenna is survived by her sister Mildred Rogers, sisters-in-law Olive McCready, Alice Bloomfield and Kay Bloomfield, brother-in-law Jake Bloomfield and several step grandchildren. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, November 10th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Kelvin Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Kelvin United Church would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Glenna in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
