Obituary of Maria Gratson

GRATSON, Maria "Mary" - The family of Mary Gratson (Maria Gratson of Brantford, Ontario) wishes to announce with sorrow her peaceful passing on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Mary was a wise, intellectual and spiritual lady who impressed people with her mind and spirit. She lived a complete and long life helping persons. She is survived by 1 nephew Joe Matiasek, and many great nephews and nieces in southern Ontario, Manitoba and Australia, and a very close friendship with Mark Fong and family. She is also survived by numerous step children and their families. A special thank you to the volunteers and staff at Woods Park Care Centre, Father Don, and the staff of Community Care Access Centre. Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 169 Charing Cross Street, Brantford ON., on Monday, October 25th, at 2:00 p.m. May your Spirit continue in Heaven. A tree will be planted in memory of Mary at the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
