KELLY, Anna Jude (nee Walsh) - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Anna Jude Kelly on October 21, 2010 at the Brantford General Hospital. Anna was in her 81st year. Loving wife of the late William Lawrence Kelly. Treasured mother of Colleen (Stephen) of Vancouver and Kyran (Karen) of Mississauga. Dearest grandmother of Teagan and Shane. Anna will be sadly missed by brother James and brother-in-law Bernard and her many nieces and nephews. Anna is predeceased by her mother Margaret Walsh, father John Walsh, brother Tony, sisters Mary, Catherine and Alico. Anna was born in Drogheda Co. Louth, Ireland and studied nursing in England. She furthered her education by becoming a mid-wife and worked several years in England before coming to Canada. Anna worked as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, Brantford. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace St., on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Anna in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
