Condolences
I've been thinking of our time together, those days will always hold a special place in my heart, times that I will never forget. I have so many memories with each of you...but Andy, he became my best friend, someone I lost along the way, but I will always hold that memory close, I always have!! Having you guy's in my life was the best part of my youth, you all were the best friends one could have. Life takes us off in different directions, but nothing can take away such a special print someone leaves in our hearts, what a memory!!! Take Care Lynn ♥
What can I say about him? Well here it goes.
Bro, I hope I do a better job here than as your best man at your wedding, it's a longer speech; trust me.
You made me mad, you made me sad, you made me happy, you mad me cry and you made me laugh.
You beat me up when I was young; I beat you up when I got older.
You hit on my girlfriends; I never got to hit on yours. lol; but no matter what we always put it behind us and moved on never holding a grudge against one another.
There were times in my life you were my best friend, we hung out all the time.
Got drunk my first time with you, drove your car and remember having the time of my life.
You, Me, Dave Payer, Pattie and Trudy Hatfield, Lyn McCreary, Zane and Cindy and John Burky, those are the times I will cherish forever.
To see you go through the pain you went through in life, the physical pain; was sad for me to watch and now it's over. I don't have to watch you suffer any more! People might judge you and say things I don't like to hear, but they never walked a mile in your shoes.
Andy I know what pain is like, how unbearable it can be, I have been there myself. Maybe I can handle physical pain better then you could, but I can't handle emotional pain at all, that's my weakness. After all said and done, I know you are free of pain and are walking in heaven with Nadia, Stephen, Uncle Marcel, cousin Shaun and Philip,
Auntie Ann, Uncle George, both Grand-dad and Nan Nicholas and Grand-dad and Nan Higgins.
I hope Nan is cooking supper on Fridays up there.
I will watch over Jess for you like she was my own.
So you run, be free and hold a spot for me bro.
Say hi to Stephen for me, I will see you all when I get there.
Love ya, and bye for now Andy.
Your Bro,
Nigel

ndy sitting on the settee so that we could place our newly adopted son (Philip) of 3 months old, in his arms. The look on his face, so pleased and happy to be holding Philip, was a beautiful experience.
Unfortunately Philip died in October 2009 at the age of 45 years. It would be lovely to think that they might meet again in the hereafter.
