WEIR, Helen Irene - Peacefully at the John Noble Home on Monday, July 26th, 2010 in her 91st year. Wife of the late Lester C. Weir (1998). Loving mother of Sharon Harrington. Caring grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Erven and Estelle Mulholland, daughter Carole Arlene Veevers (Richard), granddaughter Pamela Jane Veevers and sisters Jean McWhirter (Herbert) and Margaret Bissett (Alvin). Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 3 p.m. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Helen in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
