Condolences
Our deepest Sympathy for your loss. Margaret's and my father's family (Andrew Ross near Innerkip) were related through the McDonald's on the Ninth Line in Zorra Township near Golspie. My dad, aunt and uncles kept in touch with Margaret through the years. Margaret had a very interesting and fulfilling life and was a very nice to visit with. We last visited her several years ago when she was living on Gladstone Ave. She'd recently moved back home after a health setback and was very happy to be back home.
As I think of Marg, some fond family memories come to mind -she had a great spirit, was always smiling and she told great stories. Marg was always happy to see myself and my brother Ian at our family celebrations. I will remember her fondly and am sad to hear of her passing. Both myself and my wife send our condolences.
We are sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother and Grandmother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Love Nancy, Jane, Sarah and Leah.
My memories of visiting Margaret were always very pleasant ones. She welcomed Jamie and I and our 3 children with open arms the few times we were able to visit over the years. My prayers are shared with all the family and my memories run deep of good times especially at the cottage on the lake. Thank you and may you rest in peace Margaret and be welcomed into the Lord's Kingdom for all the good you have done over the years. Joanne Chandler Hughes
My passion for history was fuelled by the teachings of Mrs Chandler. I remember being captivated as she shared her vast knowledge. She taught me the meaning and value of both ancient and contemporary history and how it affects our society today. She was a kind and caring person who will be deeply missed but will live on in my memories Warmly Eric Lambier
Lenny, Lois, Casey, Kerry and Genny: Our sincere condolences to you on the news of Margaret's passing. She was an incredible person, who so much of herself for the betterment of others. The Chandler Family It is with great sadness that I have learned of the passing of Mrs Margaret Chandler. I have fond memories of her during my time at the Ontario School for the Blind during the 1950s. Some people make a difference just by being who they are. Their light shines bright and touches lives both near and far, and even when they are gone, they still forever play a part in the smiles and the priceless moments that are treasured in the heart. She was someone who made this world a brighter and better place. I remember spending a few wonderful moments with her during her brief visit to the school during a reunion in June of 2006 my first in over 50 years. With warmest thoughts and deepest sympathy, I remain Brian McAuliffe
