COSSABOOM, Gertrude Helen - Passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. Predeceased by her husband Ashley. Mother of Lloyd (Darlene), Susan, Ross (Vicki), Sandra and Blair. Special "Maaa" to Joe Byrne. "Nannie" to 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sister of Roselyn. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Helen Banks and siblings Irene, Charley and Ross. Gertrude will be missed by many other family members and friends. After graduating from nursing in New Brunswick, she proudly wore her black striped cap during her career. A private family service has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre (519) 752-4331. Donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Gertrude in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
