Condolences
The last year has gone by so quickly. I still think about you every day and wish that you were here with us. We love and miss you very much.
I can't believe it's been six months since you left us. I walk into the house every day still expecting to see you sitting there watching your movies, drinking your cup of tea and eating ginger snaps. I love you and miss you horribly.
God looked around his garden, and he saw an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and he lifted you to rest-God's garden must be beautiful because he only takes the best. It broke my heart to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of me went with you that day he called you home. Missing you terribly Dad.
While we never met Frederick we have known Maggie throughout her time in the UAE and we are thinking of the wonderful and loving daughter, son-in-law and grandson he has left behind. May God bless them. The McBrides.
Sincere condolences to all the family on Freddie's passing.
I am very sorry for your loss. I did not kn ow your father, but it is very clear he had a loving and supportive family. That is his legacy. I know his family was great comfort to him. My prayers and thoughts are with your entire family.
Letting you know we are all deeply saddened by the loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this very sad and difficult time. All our love and God bless.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. We are sorry for your loss.
Deeply sorry for your Loss. Freddie was a man of few words he was at times difficult to understand and he used his heavy accent to his favour. Many times at the Depot, I can remember him being the cause of loud laughter when he had wanted to make himself heard. We will miss you Freddie, Rest easy.
Our condolences to the family of Fred. All who worked with Fred will never forget him. I don't know what kind of Fred the outside world got to see but those of us a depot 8 will never forget this man. For me Fred was a friend when I was sick and he was always there at our parties to help especially on Mikes birthday night Fred helped us run that night till the last cup was picked up. He was a man of quite alot of words not that we could understand all of them. HA rest in peace my friend. You will be missed very much. Cole.
My condolences to Fred's family. I worked with Fred at Station B in Burlington for quite a few years before I retired and we had many laughs together. He always had a quick wit and he could be very outspoken, but that's what we loved about him. Myself, and everyone else who knew Fred, will miss him. He was one of our big family. Rest in Peace, Fred.
To my Wife and Family, I wanted to say a few words about a man that was never understood, Fred was a man with very few words, but had a craving for my mother's cooking. At times we look at life and think of what is normal to you, might not be normal to someone else. Like art, for it's value and uniqueness is not cherish or realized until they are gone. Again, I can say this about him, that he is only one of few people that come down to save my wife and I from insanity from the triplets. Thanks Fred! You will be missed! Carmen Spina
Dear Claire and Family, My deepest condolences for your loss. Time will heal the heart Claire. Your memories of your Dad will always be with you. I know you will keep him close to your heart. Sincerely, Paula
March 25,2010,
To-dayI lost the love of my life for the 2nd time. the sadness is indescribabel
My memory of Fred,is how he liked things to be tidy, just how everything was like new even when he had had it years, I remember going to tea with him when i last was over in Canada. Years ago fred falling over a wall,(he was walking backwards with his hands in his pockets) cause he didnt want to go to shop, the family was looking out of cannondale window cause he was so slow, all laughed,so Fred soon ran faster to the shops. We all have our own little piece of memory that will stay with us. I send my love to you all and send comfort from the scripures of the Bible, its at Revelation 21: verses 3 and 4. With that i heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away."
My Heart is with you all, and I will see you soon when you come to Ireland
Lots of Love Joanie and Family x x
