Obituary of Lawrence Charlick

Charlick, "Lorne" Lawrence - Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, on Monday, March 22nd, 2010 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Marion for over 65 years. Loving father of Jane (Dennis) Ponto, Carole Pomerleau, Diane (Ken) Alfreds, Brian, Dona (Wayne), Michael (Kathy), Heather (John) Mummery, and Bradley. Devoted grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Glad (Bruno), and his brothers Tom (Dorothy), and Bert (Beth). Predeceased by his sister Amy. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lorne was the President of C.A.W. # 397 for many years, eventually becoming an international representative for the union. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Lorne in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
