KEREL, Joan - Passed away peacefully at the Hallowell House, Picton on Friday March 5th, 2010, in her 82nd year. Beloved daughter of the late James and Ivy Lillian (Grayson) Robertson. Loving wife of the late Marvin Kerel. Dear mother of Jill Tubbs (Rick), Sandra Jakubczyk, Robert Kerel, Gord Kerel (Brenda Algate), Randy Kerel (Diana), Doug Kerel (Linda), Tim Kerel, Morris Kerel (Lynne), and Stephen Kerelchuk (Belynda). Also remembered by siblings Jean Hill (Clinton), Donald Robertson (Shirley) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers Jimmy and George Robertson and sisters Hilda Prince and Mabel Sharpe. The family will receive friends at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Home, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, Ontario (519) 752-4331 on Friday from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Friday March 12th, 2010 at 1p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Brantford. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Joan in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
