HEYS, Joseph - With great sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Joseph at the Brantford General Hospital on February 23, 2010 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Heeney, 1986). Loving father of Barbara Hall (Marv), Donald (Helene), and Paul (Suzanne). Adored grandfather to Richard, Brian, Jo-Anne, Eric, Peter, Carly, David, Sarah, and Spencer. Cherished great-grandfather of nine. Survived by sisters Jean Wood and Clare Kipp, and sister-in-law Irene Heys. Predeceased by brother Jack, sister Edna Taylor, and brothers-in-law Wes Wood and Nels Kipp. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday, February 25th, 2010 from 10-11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
