METCALFE, Maisie - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010 in her 85th year. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Ada Williams, her late husbands Thomas Metcalfe, and Leonard Monture, her siblings Roy, Earl, Bob, Wilfred, Ariel and Sandy, and her daughter Earlene Powless. She is survived by her son C.R. (Joe) Williams, daughter Royetta Monture, great-grandsons Richard and James Carpenter, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the S.P.C.A. or Nova Vita would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Maisie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
