SMITH, Norman A. - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Colleen Collins for 61 years. Loving father of Catherine and her husband Raymond Grieve, Patrick and his wife Carlene. Caring grandfather of David, Julie, Michael and William. Caring great-grandfather of 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Gordon and his wife Muriel. Predeceased by his brother Douglas. Norman was an employee of theP.U.C. for many years, an avid golfer and a great pool player. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Saturday from 12 until 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Saturday at 2 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Norman in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
