MARTINOW, Robert Michael - Passed away suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, December 7th, 2009 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee: Gibson) for 45 years. Loving father of Kevin and his wife RaymaDawn, Kenneth and his wife Annette. Caring grandfather of Gregory, Blair, Kynder, Kevin Jr., Heather, and Jessica. Dear great-grandfather of Dominic and Michael. Bob was a welder at Budd Canada for 30 years. After retiring he ran a successful auction service with his 2 sons (B&M Auctions). He was a longtime member of the Grand River Sociables Radio Club and president for approximately 20 years. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Bob in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
