HATFIELD, Norma (nee Torelli) - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Edwin Hatfield for over 55 years. Loving mother of Rocky, Shelly, Patti, and Trudy (Mark) Neiley. Devoted grandmother of Tina (Jim), Michael (Lindsay), Dara (Melissa), Eddie, Jason, Tara, Andrea, Brandon, Colin, Kinesha and great-grandmother of James, Jenna, Jacob, Jolina, Arianna, Alyssa, Seth, Kyla and Athena. She is survived by her brother Ted (Mary) Torelli, and sister Lucy (the late Stan) Totten. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Rose Torelli, and her brothers Leo (Lillian), Alf (Bunny), Conrad, John (Norma), and sisters Florence (Doug), Annie (Louis), and Dolly. She will also be fondly remembered by many other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lupus Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Norma in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
