GREATHEAD, George - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital after a short illness on September 7th, 2009 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Melba. Loving father of Lynn Thompson (Dave) and Lori Greathead (Todd). Loving grandfather of Ashley and Kayla Thompson. He loved boating, fishing and travelling. Thank you to everyone who took care of him on the 5th floor, Critical Care and 7th floor at the Brantford General Hospital. At George's request there will be no service or visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of George in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
