Obituary of Iva Marilyn DeKoninck

DeKONINCK, Iva Marilyn - It is with sadness that Michelle Warner (nee Drew) announces the passing of her beloved mother, Marilyn on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 in her 73rd year at the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford. Dear mother of Michelle and her husband Randy and loving grandmother of Matthew and Bradley, Peosta, Iowa. Sister of Gordon Gehring and his wife Grace, Otterville. Survived also by several nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Muriel Gehring. Marilyn was a proud graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, London, 1957. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment Otter Cemetery, Otterville. Donations may be made in memory of Marilyn to the Stedman Community Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted in memory of Marilyn in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
