Obituary of Karl Weidhaas

WEIDHAAS, Karl Heinz "Poppy" - Surrounded by his loving family, Karl passed away on Monday, July 20th, 2009, in his 68th year. Devoted husband of Janet Weidhaas (nee Boutilier) for over 44 years. Loving father of Carl (Sherri) Weidhaas, Gale (Paul) McArthur and Rick (Kathy) Weidhaas. Cherished grandfather of Krystal (Bob), Cassie, Kaynen, Kaleb, Klara, Jaslynn, Jamie and Grace and great-grandfather of Myla. He will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Karl worked as a millwright most recently for Flowserve, Gates Rubber and York Farms. Karl's greatest accomplishments in life were his wife and family to whom he loved and was loved dearly. At Karl's request cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Friday, July 24th, from 7-9 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Karl in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
